The Wonderful World of Feelings...
Feelings.. what are those? Why do we have them? What are they for anyway? Aren't they just those pesky things that get in the way? The things that keep us from getting the things done that we need to get done?
Some of you may feel that way, and yes, when gone unnoticed for too long, feelings can seem overwhelming, out of proportion or hard to understand. But, in reality, our feelings are our guidance system. Our feelings are what give our lives texture and help us to experience the full breadth of what life has to offer.
In this series of blogs I am going to talk about feelings. How to recognize them, how to befriend them, how to express them and how they can help you to more fully enjoy and connect to your life.
As I often use writing to work with and express my own feelings, I will pull from my personal archive of writings I've done in times of both hardship and joy. I will also share with you some of my very cherished resources that I offer my clients, and use myself to better understand our feelings and needs and the feelings and needs of those we love.
